Marriage

The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament."

Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1601

The Sacrament of Marriage involves a call from God and a response from two people who promise to build a sacramental partnership filled with love through the help of divine grace. This Sacrament shows a couple how to dive deep into conviction and commitment as they lead each other closer to Heaven. Throughout the marriage preparation process, the couple will learn more about what their vocation means and will work towards the virtues, habits, and skills necessary for marriage.

Preparation will need to begin at least eight months in advance of the wedding. For more information about the preparation process, fill out the inquiry form below. Contact Deacon Kevin Leiner with any questions you may have.
