Confirmation brings about a deepening of baptismal grace and unites the candidate more firmly to Jesus. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are increased within the person and a special strength is given to them to spread the faith. The Archdiocese of Denver has begun the deliberate process of restoring the order of the sacraments of initiation to their proper theological and historical order (following Baptism, Reconciliation in second grade, Confirmation and Eucharist in third grade).<\/h4>\n
