This sacristan ministry is important in the orchestration and coordination of the liturgical and sacramental celebrations in the Church. They insure everything is in place, and that there are a sufficient amount of ministers to effectively celebrate the Mass and other liturgical celebrations. Duties of this ministry include preparing vessels, collaborating with other liturgical ministers, turning on/off lights and ensuring the priest and deacon have everything they need.
